Hi there, welcome to my website. I so pleased you found me. My name is Michelle and I’m an Interiors Psychologist. It’s a made up title! I’m not a therapist but I do use psychology in everything I do for clients. So, I can hear you ask ‘what does psychology have to do with interiors?’ To answer that question I have 3 things to share with you:
The spaces we spend time in have a big impact on us; on our health, our happiness, our mood. We all deserve to spend time in spaces that really work for us. And when it comes to your own home, it needn’t cost a lot of money.
We are not all made the same! Because of individual differences, we all need slightly (sometimes majorly) different environments to thrive. So what do you need? To answer that question you need to get to know yourself well and learn about the link between your individual psychology and design.
It’s time to ignore other people’s opinions. I mean it! Once you understand yourself and your own taste preferences, you have all you need to create a space that’s perfect for you.

Book on a Workshop. There’s something really lovely about learning about yourself when you are sitting next to someone who is doing the same thing. I find that people love to share their aha moments and get a lot more out of it when they do. My workshops are informal and fun and all participants leave with a complimentary copy of the book and a project vision board they have created. I am currently running workshops for the Bristol Upholstry Collective and also from my cottage. I am always developing new content and plan to be able to share content online to a wider audience soon.
