What: INTRO session - WHAT’S MY DESIGN PERSONALITY?

• Do you admire gorgeous interiors and would love to have more confidence in making choices about colours, furniture and lighting?

• Do you get frustrated when items you love don’t ‘go’ well together or are too big or too small when you get them home?

• Are you fed up of ‘copy me’ influencers and want to define your own style?

Join me for this introductory look into how your psychology influences your taste in interiors. We will meet in the lovely upstairs room at the Jubilee Institute on Main Street, Heysham Village.

In this workshop you will:

1. Discover your unique design personality through a series of short quizzes

2. Learn about the link between design styles and personality

3. Be able to ask questions and share home based problems and ideas

4. Have fun sharing ‘aha moments’ with fellow participants

5. Create a mood board of your design personality with real samples to take home

6. Enjoy a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Come alone or with a friend!

Hot and cold drinks, snacks and all materials are included.

The ideas in this workshop are based on the ideas with the book: ‘Your Design Personality at Home’.

Michelle Armitage is an Interior Designer and Author who combines the fields of interior design and psychology in her work. She is passionate about changing the conversations in society from just following the latest trends and fashions in interior design to understanding how to create truly personal interiors based on an individual’s unique ‘design personality’.

Information about the venue:

Regular buses run to the village on a daily basis. The venue is a short walk from the main bus stop and car park.
